  Susan Jean Carter, 42, of Ray City died May 28, 2012, at her residence.
 Born August 19, 1969, in Sidney, OH, she graduated in 1987 from Fort Wayne, I
IN. She resided in the Nashville/Ray City area for the past 18 years.
 Survivors include her mother, Sherrell Clifford of Ray City, father, Thomas 
(Carin) Maxwell of Fort Wayne. She was a loving daughter and devoted mother to 
her four children who survive; daughters, Melissa Carter of Tifton, Cheryl 
Carter of Nashville, Katy Carter of Valdosta; son, Matthew Carter of Valdosta; 
brother, Michael-Jon (Sarah) Maxwell of Fort Wayne; grandmother, Susie Maxwell o
of Jackson Center, OH. She is preceded in death by a brother, Eric Maxwell of J
Jackson Center.
 Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on June 1 at Lakeland Chapel of Music 
Funeral Services. Entombment followed at Greenlawn.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
