 Kent Winston Carter, 61, of West Berrien died March 4, 2013, at his residence.
 He was born in Hillsborough County, FL to the late Leroy R. and May Eighth 
McClellan Carter. He was a retired sales manager with Master Craft Tifton Plant 
and member of Brookfield Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a 
daughter, Kendra Marlene Carter who died in 1981.
 He is survived by his wife, Mavis Marlene Ellis Carter of West Berrien; 
daughter, Karla (Daniel) Mallard of West Berrien; son, Kenyon (Christine) 
Carter of Atlanta; two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Kason.
 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on March 8 in the Chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Cadwell officiating.
 Interment followed in Pine Grove Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Martie Barfield, McKey Barfield, Charlie Vickers, Eric 
Vickers, Tye Horne, Eric McClellan, Eddie Jones, Lance Walker.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
