 Cheryl Carver, 55, of Nashville died January 22, 2008 at South Georgia Medical 
Center.
 Born Nov. 17, 1952 in Tift County to Nancy Daniels Hall of Nashville and the 
late Cleveland Hall, she was a homemaker and member of Flat Creek Baptist 
Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Hand who died in 1999. 
 Survivors in addition to her mother, include her husband, Melvin Carver of 
Nashville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Christina and Richard Allen and 
Jennifer and Donnie Brown all of Nashville; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and 
Joni Stevens of Fredericksburg, VA; seven grandchildren and seven step-
grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; sisters, Katie Harnage and Jerri 
Bradford, both of Nashville; brother, Floyd Hall of Nashville; three stepsons 
Melvin Carver, Jr., USAF Dover, Delaware, David Carver, New Philadelphia, OH, 
John Carver, Apopka, FL.
 Funeral services were held Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. at Flat Creek Baptist Church 
with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Musical selections on CD 
included "What a Wonderful Morning," "My Home," and "Safely Home." Tammy Kent, 
pianist, played prelude music.
 Interment was in Flat Creek Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Curtis Davis, Jack Bennett, Blair Joiner, Stanley Arrington, 
Colby Bradford, Stacy Harnage, Robbie Dasher, Harmon Marchant.
 Honorary pallbearers were Charles Hall, Carl Hall, Damon Hogan, Lamar Stone.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
