Ernest Casey, son of Mr. G.B. Casey, of Nashville, died last Thursday in Johnson City, Tenn., at the old soldiers’ home and the remains were brought to Nashville and buried Monday morning at 11 o’clock at the Long Bridge Cemetery. The deceased was 26 years of age, was born and practically reared here. He had served an enlistment in the United States Navy and during that time contracted tuberculosis which was the cause of his death. He had been confined to the hospital in Johnson City since the first of March. Those surviving are his father, Mr. G.B. Casey of Nashville, two sisters, Mrs. Dan Taylor and Mrs. Anna Kennedy, of Miami, Fla., two brothers, Clarence Casey of Jacksonville, and W.H. Casey of Nashville.
