Born June 21, 1925 in Coffee Co. to the late Clyde Ferguson and Ira Morris she was a homemaker and member of Nashville First Baptist Church and the Philathea Sunday School Class. She was married to Rudolph J. Chambless, who died in 1992. Survivors include two daughters and sons in law, Sandra and Jerry Davis of Brunswick and Gail and Bob Gaskins of Nashville; four grandchildren, Jerry Rudolph Davis, Michael Thomas Davis, Robert Wilson Gaskins, III, and Kristin Nicole Rentz; one great granddaughter, Riley Nicole Rentz. She was preceded in death by a brother, Carlton Morris, and a sister, Billie Jo Vickers. Funeral services were held June 23 at 11 a.m. at Nashville First Baptist Church with the Revs. Stanley Luke and Billy Southerland and Mr. Jackson Moore officiating. Scott Johnson and Lee Stallings sang "It is Well With My Soul," accompanied by Ginger Carter. Interment was in Flat Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tommy Morris, Terry Morris, Jerry Morris, Will Gaskins, Mike Davis, Jerry Davis. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
