 Joyce Pauline Chason, 68, of Ray City, died Dec. 26, 2009 at her residence.
 Born April 9, 1941, in Mitchell County to the late Robert and Leacy Brinson, sh
she was a homemaker and attended New Bethel Baptist Church. She was the widow of
of Herman Chason, who died in 1997.
 She is survived by four sons, Gary Chason of Pensacola, FL, Ron Chason of H
Hahira, Tim Chason of Athens and Andy Chason of Ray City; 11 grandchildren, one g
great grandchild. She was preceded in death by eight sisters.
 Funeral services were held Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Larry Daughtry officiating. Songs on CD included "When I Get 
Where I'm Going," "I'm Standing On the Mountain," "Holes in the Floor of 
Heaven" and "I'll Fly Away."
 Burial followed in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
 Pallbearers were Justin Childs, Brandon Riley, Ashley Williams, Chris Hughes, S
Scott Chason, Bradley Chason.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
