Born June 21, 1918 in Berrien County to the late Bob and Sally Mae Hall McNabb, she was a homemaker and attended Nashville Mission. She was married to the late Clarence Clanton. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Giddens and Velma Grimes, and three brothers, Homer McNabb, June McNabb and Robert McNabb. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Melba and Gene Baldree of Nashville and Mabel and Dan Byrd of Juliette; brother, Heywood McNabb of Nashville; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Dukes, III, officiating.Taped music included "In the Garden" and "When the Roll is Called Up Yonder." Interment was in LongBridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were Greg Clanton, Michael Baldree, Bruce Bailey, Brett Bailey, Eddie Williams, Brian McNabb. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
