Durden dawned@dishmail.net March 3, 2008, 4:39 pm The Berrien Press, July 6, 2003, Nashville, GA James Franklin "Jim" Clark, 75, of Nashville died July 6, 2003 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton. Born March 29, 1928 in Jackson County, AL to the late William Franklin and Lena Mae Lusk Clark, he was retired from civil service at Moody Air Force Base and served with the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War. He was a fireman for Lowndes and Brooks counties and a member Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ollie Nash Clark; three daughters, Janice Walker and Joan Clark, both of Nashville and Judy Pedrick of Lakeland; three sons, Robert Mathis, James Clark both of Valdosta and Jerry Clark of Lake Park; one sister, Mary Evans of Tifton; 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 9 at 4 p.m. at Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Pickern officiating. Interment was in Brushy Creek Cemetery. Grandsons served as active pallbears. All other grandchildren and great grandchildren served as honorary pallbearers. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
