Born September 14, 1953 in Cook County to Mary Shaw Catoe of Nashville and the late Hugh Clements, he was a boat rigger with Chaparral Boats. He attended Nashville United Methodist Church and was a member of the men's Bible class. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include two sisters, Elaine Peace of Valdosta and Diane Sheehan of Katy, TX; one brother, Tommy Clements of Valdosta. A graveside service was held December 23 at 11 a.m. at Beaver Dam Cemetery in Ray City with Rev. Dwight Bishop officiating. Pallbearers were Waymond Dampier, James Couch, Clalaenta Jackson, Lewis Golson, Nathaniel Padgett, Jr., Aaron Covington. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
