Clyatt Local Resident Dies Saturday Mrs. H.W. Clyatt, 86, of 306 W. Washington Street, Nashville, died at her residence Saturday. She was Miss Alice Connell before her marriage September 3, 1893. Mr. Cylatt passed away April 5, 1938. Funeral and burial services were held at the Nashville Baptist Church with Rev. G.A. Brand officiating. The hymns “Near to the Heart of God” and “Abide with Me” were sung by the Baptist Choir. Honorary pall bearers were Harry Brown, Sam Wills, Carl Jeanes, and Gary Moore. Active pall bearers were Dumps Griffin, Edgar Griner, Harold Carlton, Foster Griffin, Ralph Shaw, and Jamie Connell. Survivors included one son, W.L. Clyatt, two daughters, Mrs. Noel E. Griffin of Nashville, Mrs. C.C. Hall, Fairfax, Va., and one sister, Mrs. H.L. Carlton, also of Nashville; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
