The Berrien Press - February, 2006
 Marguerite Cofield, 67, of the West Berrien Community, died February 15, 2006 
at Berrien County Hospital.
 Born January 10, 1939 in Chesapeake, VA to James and Ruthie Metzger, she was a 
member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
 Survivors include daughter, Spring Edwards of West Berrien; sons, Thomas 
Edwards of Miami, FL, James Edwards of West Berrien, John Edwards of Byron, 
sisters, Edith Carr and Thelma Vaughn both of Chesapeake, brother, Robert 
Metzger of California, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
 The family honored her request for cremation. A memorial service was held 
February 18 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Williams officiating.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
