 Iretha Connell, 74, of Nashville died March 28, 2006 at Doctors Hospital in 
Augusta.
 Born June 23, 1932 in Berrien County to the late Reuben Futch and Pearlie Ann 
Griffin Knowles. She was a homemaker and retired from ITT Industries in Adel. 
She was a member of Alapaha Baptist Church and was married to the late Robert 
Connell.
 Survivors include three daughters, Lucy Bennett of Adel, Lucille Exum of 
Nashville, Carolyn Howell of Lenox; son Eston Connell of Nashville; brothers, 
Henry Knowles and Allen Knowles, both of Nashville; seven grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held April 1 at 2 p.m. at Alapaha Baptist Church with 
the Revs. Mike Gibbs and Mickey Lindsey officiating.
 Interment was in Flat Creek Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Brian Connell, Michael Sumner, Jeremy Bennett, David 
Lee Howell, Dustin Howell, Chris Sumner.
 Honorary pallbearers were William Connell, Edward Knowles, Jackie Stone, 
Wesley Holbrook, Richard Knowles, Josh Curry, Raymond Knowles, Donald Franklin, 
Kerry Holbrook.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
