She was born June 15, 1907 in Berrien Co. to Benjie Cook and Gayrell Stone Cook. She was a homemaker and a member of Nashville First Baptist Church. She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Her father served in the Confederate Army and was a union POW. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3 in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. The Rev. Fred Hesters will officiate. Burial will follow in Empire Cemetery. Visitation will be after noon today. Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
