Born October 18, 1915 in Berrien Co. to the late Lige and Eva Studstill Cook, he was a retired maintenance employee with the Berrien Co. Board of Education. He was a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps. Survivors include his wife, Mayzella Griffin Cook of Nashville, one daughter, Lona Faye Frith of Nashville; one son, Bobby Ray Cook of Nashville; one sister, Lucille Harris of Nashville; one brother, Alvah Cook of Nashville; two grandchildren. Funeral services were held April 2 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Revs. A. D. Connell and Gerald Lee officiating. The New River Holiness Church choir sang "Precious Memories," "One of God's Children Has Gone Home," and "That Silver-Haired Daddy of Mine." Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
