Born Nov. 7, 1930 in Cook County to the late William and Carrie Barker Griffin, she was a homemaker and widow of Lonzie Lee Cook who died in 2003. Survivors include daughter, Lona Faye Frith of Nashville; son, Bobby (Gwen) Cook of Nashville; sister, Mattie Lou Weeks of Lenox; two grandchildren, Stephen Frith and Jammie Cook; four great-grandchildren, Jaxson Cook, Kayden Cook, Ashton Cook, Alan Paul Stokes. Funeral services were held on Aug. 31 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Revs. Gerald Lee, Stephen Vaughn, and Adam Young officiating. Music was provided by Danny Lee, Charles Goff, Mr. and Mrs. Junior Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Brock. Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Gary Hunter, Scott Hunter, Mike Hunter, Ken Hunter, Robin Hunter, Tim Hewitt, Ron Guthrie, Jody Price, Honorary pallbearers were Billy Weeks, Roger Weeks, Jerry Weeks, Wayne Griffin, James Griffin, Jake McMillan.
