 Avy Browning Cook, 75, of Nashville died March 1, 2011, at Pine Pointe Hospice C
Center in Macon.
 Born in Lanier County, she married the late Bobby Jack Cook and resided in 
Nashville for 52 years before moving to Macon to live with her daughter for the 
past two years. She worked at Citizens Bank for 35 years and was an a active 
member of Nashville First Baptist Church. She enjoyed walking, gardening and 
most especially dancing. She loved the Lord and knew what was important in life -- 
-- the love of family and friends. This was evident to all those who knew her.
 Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and David Anthony Keys, 
Jr; four grandchildren, Robert Heath (Cara) Wilson, Beth (Brandon Gray) 
Youmans, Eleanor Kate Wilson and Rachel Wesleyan Wilson; one great-grandchild, 
Thomas Gage Wilson; mother-in-law, Frankie (E.J.) Cook; sister-in-law, Helen (Joh
(John Albert) Griner; niece, Pamela Sue Griner.
 Funeral services were held March 3 at 1 p.m. at Nashville First Baptist Church wit
with Rev. Stanley Luke officiating. A eulogy was given by Danny Bradford. Carol Key
Keys sang "Amazing Grace," and the congregation sang "Be Thou my Vision" and
and "It is Well With my Soul."
 Interment was in Westview Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Robert Heath Wilson, David Anthony Keys, Jr., Brandon Gray Y
Youmans, Lee Ivey, Tom Lucas, Danny Bradford, Tim Bradford.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
