She was born February 12, 1934, in Hazlehurst to the late Lloyd and Verdie Partin Rogers. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband in their family business. Cook Timber and Logging. She was a member of Nashville First Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Boyd and Eudine Anderson; two brothers, L.R. Rogers, Jr. and Herbert Rogers. She is survived by her husband, L.C. Cook, Jr., of Nashville; three daughters, Pat O’Steen of Nashville, Debra Cornelius of Nashville and Kay Franklin of Nashville; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Hank and Cheryl Franklin and Glenn Franklin, all of Nashville; stepson, Marlon Cook of Los Angeles, CA; stepdaughter, Susie Omori of Panama City, FL; 12 grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held February 21 at 11 a.m. at Nashville First Church of the Nazarene with the Revs. Ray Dean and Charles Barden officiating. Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
