C. Cook, Jr., 76, of Nashville died May 1, 2014, at his residence. He was born July 26, 1937, in Berrien County to the late Lester and Hettie Rouse Cook. He was retired owner of Cook Timber & Logging and a United States Air Force veteran. He attended Nashville First Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ruth Rogers Cook, who died February 17, 2014; son, Martin Andrew Cook; granddaughter, Korteni Omori; step-son, Vernon David Franklin, Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Susie Omori of Panama City, FL; son, Marion Cook of Los Angeles, CA; three step-daughters, Pat O’Steen, Debra Cornelius and Kay Franklin, all of Nashville; two step-sons, Hank Franklin and Glenn Franklin, both of Nashville; four sisters, Betty Miller, Linda Sumner and Letha Bailey, all of Nashville, Nell Walden of Adel; brother, J.B. Cook of Nashville; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 6 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral home with the Revs. Ray Dean and Charles Barden officiating. Interment followed at Westview Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
