 Ruby Carolyn Cooper, 61, of Ray City died March 4, 2008 at Tift Regional 
Medical Center in Tifton.
 Born in Berrien County to Ruth Nix Bristol of Adel and the late Olin Bristol, 
she was employed with Whidden's Furniture in Nashville for 38 years. Her 
hobbies include her animals and drinking her favorite drink, Ritz Pina Colada 
Soda, while shopping. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by 
her brother, Roger "Bud" Bristol.
 Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Johnny Cooper, Ray 
City; sons and daughters in law, Michael and Daphinne Cooper, Nashville, Steven 
and Erica Cooper, Valdosta; brother, Earl Bristol, Adel; four grandchildren, 
Darren Cooper, Derrick Cooper, Danielle Cooper and Colten Cooper.
 Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. March 6 at First Baptist Church of Ray 
City with interment in Beaver Dam Cemetery.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
