Born in March 27, 1912, in Clinch County to the late Mack Charles and Laura Patten Sirmans, she was one of the founding members of the K&E Community Club and a member of the Real Club. She was a homemaker taking care of her family and household. She was a member of Lakeland United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross L. Corbitt, and a son-in-law, Fay Griner. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Griner of Nashville; granddaughter, Catherine Hadsock (Greg) of Nashville; grandson, Brian Griner (Pam) of Valdosta, great-grandchildren, Charlotte Griner, Carolyn Griner, Harrison Gri Griner. Funeral services were held June 6 at 11 a.m. at Lakeland United Methodist Ch Church. Burial followed at Greenlawn Cemetery. Music Funeral Service of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
