 Mrs. Lowell (Snipes) Cowart, 90, of Valdosta died March 26, 2006 at South 
Georgia Medical Center.
 Born July 6, 1915 in Berrien County to the late William and Lillie Purvis 
Spell, she was retired from the Valdosta City School system. She was a member 
of New Ramah Baptist Church in Ray City and the Valdosta Senior Center.
 Survivors include three daughters, Evelyn Johnson of Valdosta, Anna Morgan of 
Senoia, Judy Long of Fayetteville; one son, Earl Snipes of Ray City; two 
sisters, Ruth Stalvey and Hazel Whitehead, both of Valdosta, six 
grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held March 28 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Music Funeral 
Services.
 Interment was in New Ramah Cemetery.
 Music Funeral Services of Valdosta was in charge of arrangements.
