  Paul Dean Crisp, 81, of Nashville died Oct.. 2, 2010 at Tift Regional 
Medical Center.
 He was born March 30, 1929 in Kansas City, Mo., to the late Richard and 
Dorothy Reynolds Crisp. he was a retired Bureau Chief with the Florida 
Department of Agriculture in Tallahassee, FL. He was a member of Nashville 
First Baptist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. He was a former 
member and Paul Harris Fellow of Nashville-Berrien Rotary Club, where he 
served as secretary for several years. He was also a director of Penfield 
Christian Homes. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
 Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Dixon Crisp of Nashville; daughter, 
Michele Lynn of Tallahassee; two stepsons, Dick (Rose) Spurlock of Alapaha 
and Woody Spurlock of Nashville; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and 
Marie Crisp of Boise, ID; granddaughter, Dr. Brandy (Grant) Willis; 
grandson, Brad Childers; five step-grandchildren, nine step-great-
grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held October 5 at 3 p.m. at Nashville First Baptist 
Church with the Rev. Stanley Luke officiating. Eulogies were given by 
Jackson Moore and Steve Davis. Lee Stallings and Deborah Boyd sang "Victory 
in Jesus" and "The King is Coming." Judy Griffin served as pianist.
 Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens.
 Active pallbearers were Ken Block, Daniel Block, Lewis Fountain, P.H. 
Danforth, Joe Alford, Julian Fields, Jim Karras, Scott Johnson, Don 
Williams.
 Honorary pallbearers were members of Fellowship Sunday School class.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
