NASHVILLE -- Minnie Ruth Daugherty, 76, of Nashville died February 28, 2006 at 
Louis Smith Memorial Hospital.
 Born October 21, 1929 in Utica County, Ms to the late Jim and Minnie Conn 
Newman, she was a retired school teacher who taught in the Berrien, Cook and 
Clinch Counties school system. She was a member of Nashville First Baptist 
Church and was married to the late Gene Daugherty.
 Survivors include one daughter, Lynn Howell of Fitzgerald; two grandchildren.
 A graveside service was held March 3 at 11 a.m. at Westview Cemetery with 
Rev. Billy Southerland officiating.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
