 Grace Daughtrey, 78, of Sparks died February 23, 2005 at South Georgia Medical 
Center in Valdosta.

 Born March 12, 1926 in Berrien County to the late Thomas Jefferson and Cora 
Lila Forehand Nessmith, she was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith. She 
was married to the late Charles Howard Daughtrey, Sr.

 Survivors include three sons, Howard Daughtrey of Abilene, TX, Thomas 
Daughtrey of Valdosta, Charles "Butch" Daughtrey, Jr. of Charleston, SC, one 
daughter, Charlene Daughtrey of Charleston, SC; brother, Hansel Nessmith of Ray 
City; six grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Boone-Lipsey 
Funeral Home with Minister Wayne Dawkins officiating. In keeping with Mrs. 
Daughtrey's wishes, her body will be cremated after the service.

 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
