NASHVILLE -- Lamar Davis, 57, Alapaha passed away Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999 at 
his residence. He was born April 8, 1941 in Berrien Co. to Georgia Moore Davis 
and the late Leeonnie Davis. He was a farmer and a truck driver. He was 
preceded in death by a son, Marlin Davis. 
 He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ann "Becky" Harper Davis, Alapaha; two 
sons, Mark Davis and Michael Davis both of Alapaha; mother, Georgia Davis, 
Alapaha and four grandchildren. 
 Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Glory United Methodist 
Church. Father James Kirchner and the Rev. Ron Johnson will officiate. 
 Interment will follow in Glory Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. 
today with the family receiving friends from 7-9 p.m. Lovein Funeral Home, 
Nashville, is in charge of arrangements
