 Clara Mae Davis, 73, of Nashville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, at 
Berrien County Hospital. 
She was born on Aug. 31, 1935, in Berrien County to the late Clarence and Maude 
Luke Heaton. She was a homemaker and member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist 
Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Lee Crews, who 
died in 1974; one sister; and four brothers. 
She is survived by her husband, Edward H. Davis of Nashville; three sons, 
Gerald (Sandra) Crews, Nashville, Herman (Denise) Crews, Baconton, Jerry 
(Jackie) Heflin, Sylvester; stepdaughter, Cynthia Griner, Nashville; three 
brothers, Charles Heaton, Clinton, Utah, Carl Heaton, Aurora, Ill., Terrell 
Heaton, Willacoochee; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. 
Graveside funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, in St. 
Luke Cemetery with the Rev. Matt Greene officiating. Visitation will be held 
from 1-3 p.m. today. Selected family members served as pallbearers. - Lovein 
Funeral Home, Nashville was in charge of arrangements.
