 Erma Elvira Davis, 88, of Alapaha died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Tift 
Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at 
St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Connell, the Rev. Kevin 
Stone and the Rev. Clayton Davis officiating. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 
tonight at Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville. Mrs. Davis was born Aug. 12, 1921 
in Berrien County to Charlie James Brogdon and Ruby Margaret Childs, both 
deceased. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Willie Lee Railey, 
Mary Alice Pevy, Pauline McKuhen and Vicki Selph. She was a homemaker and a 
member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband, 
Harry Clifford Davis of Alapaha; daughters and son-in-law, Louise and Billy 
Steverson and Glenda Davis, all of Alapaha; grandchildren, Michael Steverson, 
Darren Harper and Dwain Steverson; and five great-grandchildren.
 Interment followed at St. Luke Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Larry Railey, H.B. Peacock, Michael Railey, Ottis Stone, T.J. Ho
Horten, Roy Wilson.
Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
