 Harrie Clifford Davis, 91, of Alapaha died February 7, 2013 in the Tift 
Regional Medical Center.
 He was born November 17, 1921 in Ben Hill County to the late John Quincy Adams 
Davis and the late Nancy Honor Livingston. He was a retired farmer and attended 
St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erma 
Elvira Brogdon Davis who died in 2010; 2 sisters, Nettie Mae Griner and Clara 
Hancock.
 He is survived by two daughters, Louise (Billy) Steverson of Alapaha and 
Glenda Davis of Alapaha; three grandchildren, Michael Steverson, Darren Harper, 
and Dwain Steverson; five great-grandchildren; sister, Kate Wilson of Nashville.
 Funeral services were held February 10 at 3 p.m. at St. Luke Missionary 
Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Connell, Rev. Kevin Stone, and Rev. Bobby 
Fussell officiating.
 Interment was in St. Luke Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
