 George Wilbur Denby, Jr., 74, of Nashville died Aug. 16, 2010, at VA Medical Ce
Center in Gainesville, FL.
 Born Feb. 23, 1936 in Colquitt County to the late Sena Belle Scarboro and G
George Wilbur Denby, Sr., he was a retired plumber and a veteran of the United S
States Army. He was married to the late Joyce Denby, who died in 1999 and was a
also preceded in death by a brother, William Denby.
 Survivors include his wife, Julie Ann Mobley Denby of Nashville; sisters, Ruby 
Fulbright and Shirley Wiley, both of Nashville; step-daughter, Jessica (Earl) 
Peebles of Nashville; step-son, Derrick Woods of Nashville; numerous nephews, niec
nieces and cousins.
 A graveside service was held Aug. 20 at 10 a.m. at Nashville Memorial Gardens wit
with Rev. Vernon Payne officiating.
 Selection family members served as pallbearers.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
