 Johnny Eston Dennis, 86, of Nashville, died April 27, 2013 at the Presbyterian 
Home in Quitman.
 He was born September 7, 1926 in Brooks County to the Rowe and Bessie Guthrie 
Dennis. He was a retired cabinet maker with Nashville Variety Works and 
operated Nashville Radio Shack. He was a member of Nashville First Baptist 
Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Burnell Ray Dennis, their 
son, Mike Dennis, three brothers, three half-brothers and a half-sister.
 He is survived by a sister, Doris Lewis of Valdosta; five half-sisters, 
Roberta Saunders, Dorothy Rogers, and Kathy Booth, all of Lake Park, Mollie 
Sauls of Valdosta, Mildred Maxwell of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters-in-las, 
Emajean (Jackson) Moore of Nashville and Christine Boyett of Nashville.
 Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 30 at 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of 
Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Luke and Mr. Jackson Moore 
officiating.
 Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens.
 Active pallbearers are Newt Hughes, Tim Tygart, Al Cooper, Rusty Darby, B.J. 
McKinnon, Greg Forehand, Al Gaskins.
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
