 Maxine Dent, 76, of Nashville died October 12, 2005 at Berrien Nursing Center.

 Born May 8, 1929 in Berrien County to the late Jake and Blanche Griffin 
Giddens, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was married to the 
late Carl Dent.

 Survivors include sister, Doris Roberts of Ocala, FL; several nieces and 
nephews.

 A graveside service was held October 14 at 11 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery with 
Rev. Clarence Luke officiating.

 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
