Born May 28, 1926 in Dade County, FL, to the late Gordon Byron and Jennie Milner Trulock, she was a 1947 graduate of the University of Georgia, a homemaker and member of Nashville United Methodist Church. She was married to the late W.W. "Buddy" Dickson. Survivors include two sons, Walt (Noe) Dickson of Bainbridge and Dr. Bobby Dickson of Kinston, NC; one brother, Gordon Byron (Elizabeth) Trulock, Jr. of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Jennie (Gordon) Armstrong, Tru (Kelly) Dickson, Sam Dickson; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held March 20 at 2 p.m. at Nashville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Benji Varnell officiating. Dan Taylor sang "Amazing Grace," accompanied by Renee Gaskins. Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randy Hancock, Johnny Lovein, Guy Martin, Mitchell Moore, Steve Perry, Butch Houston. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
