Born Oct. 17, 1927, in Greenville, FL, to the late Benjamin Henry and H Henrietta Dukes Dieas, he was a heavy equipment operator, a WWII Navy veteran, a and member of Alapaha United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Selph Dieas of Alapaha; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Rita Dieas of Alapaha and Mike and Monica Dieas of En of Enigma; two grandsons, Erik Dieas and Jason Dieas. Funeral services were held April 29 at 2 p.m. at Alapaha United Methodist Chur Church with the Rev. Bruce Vaughn officiating. "Long Black Train" was played on CD a CD and Lisa and Allie Bleu Tucker sang "Victory Chant." Gail Powell played proc processional and recession music. Interment was in Tift Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Terry Selph, Donnie Selph, Erik Dieas, Jason Dieas, L. L.A. Selph, Grant Hall. Honorary pallbearers were Dusty Tucker, Randy Stone, Richard Tucker, Rodney T Tucker, Edwin Gaskins, Gene Stone, Julian Fields, Carey Parrish, Van Tucker, J Joe Dixon, Johnny Browning, David Powell, Ozell Collins, Carey Tucker.
