 William Daniel Dorminy, 79, of Alapaha died September 25, 2011, at his res
residence.
 Born August 25, 1932, in Berrien County to the late Hanson Norman and Lillian Pr
Prosser Dorminy, he was a retired farmer and attended Alapaha Baptist Church. He
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
 Survivors include his wife, Barbara Clark Dorminy of Alapaha; three sons, John D
Daniel Dorminy of Alapaha, Timothy Daniel Dorminy of Gadsden, AL and Donald R
Robert Newman of Kingsport, TN; daughter, Paula Louise Dorminy Parks of P
Pennington Gap, VA; brother, Robert Paige Dorminy of Orlando, FL; four g
grandchildren, Trey Parks, Paulina Parks, Andrew Newman, Nathan Newman.
 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on September 30 in the Chapel of
Bowen-Donaldson Home of Funerals with Rev. Mike Gibbs officiating.
 Interment was in Fletcher Cemetery in Alapaha.
 Pallbearers were Eddie Owen, Lincoln Gaskins, Ed Giddens, Wycliff Vance, Arnold
Brogdon, Buddy Pafford.
