Mr. Dove was born August 1, 1948, in Lead mine, West Virginia, the son of Ruby Lewis Dove Baker of Melbourne, FL and the late Paul Dove, Sr. He was also preceded in death by the late Paul Dove, Sr. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Paul Dove, Jr. He had worked at J.P. Stevens and Fortsman, but was a retired truck driver with Ross of Georg is. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was awarded the Purple Heart. In addition to his mother, Mr. Dove is survived by his stepfather, Jack Baker of Melbourne, FL; his wife, Angela McMillan Dove of West Berrien Community; one son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Tiffeny Dove of Nashville; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Mike Tucker of Tifton; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Ralph and Darlene Dove of Ocala, FL and Jerry Dove of Opa Locka, FL; one sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Hal Coats of Montgomery, AL; five grandchildren, Ryan Tucker, Amber Dove, Angel Gregerson, Trace Redding and Rain Redding; and five sisters-in-law, Delores McGhee, Theda Goddard, Marcia Thornton, Debbie Remaley and Sharon Dove. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. on Monday, August 3 in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. T. J. Mauldin officiating. Interment was in Oakey Grove Church Cemetery in Berrien County. Active pallbearers were Ryan Tucker, Brian McGhee, Paul Dove, James Willis, Dalon Dotson, Mack Brown, Robbie Baker. Honorary pallbearers were Travis Brown, Delmas Sharp, George Willis, Scott Willis, Skip Waugh, Otis Fasion, James Edwards. Mr. Dove's family would like to thank the VA Clinic in Valdosta and Georgia Home Health Care for their compassionate care of Mr. Dove. Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funeral was in charge of arrangements.
