Born March 1, 1938 in Allendale Co., SC, to the late Lewis W. and Eula Mae Stephens Dubose, he was a retired mechanic and member of Trinity Holiness Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Stevens Dubose of Nashville; four daughters, Tammy Jean Holmes of Doerun, Sylvia Louise Wilkerson of Sparks, Carla Lynn Rey of Leesburg, Anita Jeanine Snow of Compton, AR; one sister, Annette Redding of Albany; two brothers, Rev. Bobby Dubose and David Dubose, both of Alapaha; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held April 5 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Revs. Freddie Stone and Junior Morgan officiating. Musical selections included "Let Me Die Easy, Lord," "I'll Be There," and "Only One More River." Interment was in St. Luke Cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert Hughes, Donald Harnage, Steve Whilden, Fred Porter, James Brogdon, Lossie Boyd, Sonny Odom. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
