She was born June 23, 1931, in Berrien County to the late Rev. Roy and Eva Griner Hendley. She graduated from Poplar Springs High School in 1948. Throughout muck of her life she was a dedicated homemaker. She became a well- known face in Nashville after opening Show Time Video in 1990, a business she and her family operated for nearly 20 years. She enjoyed playing piano, shopping, and spending time with family. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Eva Jean, and a sister, Mary Helen Booth. She is survived by her husband, Leon Durrance of Nashville; two daughters, Jeannie (Luke) Jackson of Lebanon, IN, and Vicki Cole of Nashville; five grandchildren; Kerri (Brad) Hurliman of Clarks Hill, IN, Matt (Kelly) Jackson of Lebanon, IN, John (Nancy) Cole of Hahira, Bart Jackson of Indianapolis, IN, and Karla Walden of Nashville; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Maxine Rowe of Nashville. Funeral services were held Sunday, September 6 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Interment followed in West Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
