Born December 28, 1910 in Fannin County, she was the daughter of the late Larkin and Lizzie Jane Tilley Davenport. She was a homemaker and member of O'Zion Baptist Church in Blue Ridge. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. James M. "Jim" Duvall who died in 1989; a son L.G. Duvall; grandson, David Harnage; son in law, Buck Harnage; and 4 sisters and 4 brothers. Survivors include two daughters, Doris Harnage of Nashville and Willie Lee Maluda of Adel; two sons, Cecil Duvall of Dallas and Jimmy Duvall of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Leeste Davenport of Blue Ridge, 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. March 15 in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Revs. Junior Swain and Leonard Conger officiating. Waunell Nichols sang "In The Sweet Bye & Bye," "Come Morning," and "I Have More To Go To Heaven For Than I Did Yesterday." Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandsons. Lovein Funeral Home of Nashville was in charge of arrangements.
