 Geraldine Barber Eason, 82, of Americus died December 4, 2012 at Magnolia Ma
Manor Nursing Center in Americus.
  A native of Nashville, she was born August 30, 1930, the daughter of the late W
Willie Alvin and Eve Barber. Mrs. Eason was a homemaker and a member of the F
First Baptist Church of Americus.
 Survivors include daughter, Carol Eason Ellis of Albany; sons, Thomas Eason of 
Salt Lake City, Utah and John Alvin Eason of Americus; sister, Gwynette Powell 
of Nashville, GA; brother, Frank Tyson of Albany; two sisters-in-law, Estelle Wynn
o
Wynn of Albany and Ruby Godwin of Lenox, GA and a grandson, Colby Eason of Americ
Americus; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. She is preceded in death by
her
by her husband, John T. Eason.
 A memorial service was held December 6 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Greg Hancock
Funer
Funeral Chapel with Rev. William Hall officiating.
