Ebersbach, 68, of Nashville died March 23, 2005 at his residence. Born February 22, 1937 in Gwinnett County to the late Wallace and Era Bowen Ebersbach, he joined the Air Force in 1955 at the age of 18. He served on the board of directors for the Shepard Federal Credit Union in Witcha Falls, TX from 1969-71; was a tracking and flight safety engineer for the Titan II and Titan III Missile Launch Teams at Cape Kennedy, FL from 1971-1977; served as supervisor of a Minute Man Missile Teal at Griffis Air Force Base in Rome, NY from 1977-1980. He retired from active duty in 1980 as a Senior Master Sergeant and moved to Nashville where he was a member of the Nashville/Berrien Rotary Club, Duncan Lodge 234 F&M and Nashville First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and active member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class. Survivors include his wife, Joanne Drawdy Ebersbach of Nashville; daughter, Rhonda Shaddix of Jasper; son, Randy Ebersbach of Newnan; three grandchildren. Funeral services were held March 25 at 2 p.m. at Nashville First Baptist Church with the Revs. Rick Williams and Billy Southerland officiating. Rev. B.J. and Theresa Holliday sang "Beulah Land" and Deborah Boyd sang "My Tribute." "Go Rest High on That Mountain" was played. Interment with full military honors was held in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Don Williams, Donald Powell, Andy Morrison, Roy Miller, John Moore, H. Gregg Ray, Gregg A. Ray, Dorian Osborne. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Fellowship Sunday Class of Nashville First Baptist Church. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
