The Berrien Press - January 2003
The Berrien Press--Virginia Evans of Valdosta died January 21, 2003 at her 
residence.
Born September 26, 1935 in Berrien Co. to the late Tommie and Vera Mae Warren 
Luke, she was a homemaker and an office nurse for many years for Dr. Avery 
Beall. She was a member of River of Life Church.
Survivors include two sons, Tommie Evans of Nashville and Jim Evans of 
Tallahassee, FL; three grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held January 23 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Cherry officiating. Rev. and Mrs. Cherry 
sang "Where the Roses Never Fade" and "Sheltered in the Arms of God."
 Interment was in Long Bridge Cemetery, Berrien Co., GA.
  Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
