Ernestine Exum, 77, of Brookfield died October 30, 2014, at her residence.
 She was born August 28, 1937, in Colquitt County to the late Ernest and Lilly 
Conger Hall. She was a homemaker, retired restaurant worker with Wink Rogers, 
and a member of Hope Baptist Church. She was the wife of Paul Exum, who died in 
2003. She was also preceded in death by three sons, Ronald Exum, Vernon Exum, 
and Talmadge Exum; one sister, and three brothers.
 She is survived by three daughters, Sarah (Tommy) Sumner of Brookfield, Carolyn 
Verenakis of Brookfield and Linda Browning of Valdosta; son, James (Donna)Exum 
of Hahira; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-
grandchildren; two sisters, Geneva Singletary of Valdosta and Martha (Donnie) 
Kirkland of Nichols; two brothers, Lester (Jean) Hall of Douglas and Billy 
(Elizabeth) Hall of Lakeland.
 Funeral services were held November 2 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Billy Sumner officiating.
 Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
