He had been in ill health for about two years. Mr. Exum was 33 years of age. The deceased was born and reared in Berrien County, a son of Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Exum. He was married to Miss Idell Hendley in 1929, and there are two children. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Mr. Exum was well known throughout Berrien County and there are many who regret his passing. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 4 o’clock at Riverside, conducted by Rev. Hardy Stephens, Rev. Roy Gaskins, and Rev. J.E. Rowan. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Giddens Funeral Home of Nashville had charge of arrangements. The pall-bearers were James Hendley, Troy Sirmans, L.J. Kent, William Kirkland, Bremen Hendley, and Hilton Hendley. Surviving besides his wife are one daughter, Mary Lou, and one son, Reuben Kenneth Exum. The parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Exum and the following brothers and sisters: A.J.
