He was born April 16, 1942, in Irwin County to the late P.H. and Myrtice Gibbs Exum. He was a mold fabricator with Chaparral Boats and a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Doris Cooper Exum of Lenox; four sons, Calvin Exum of Phenix City, Al, Charles Darley of Willacoochee, Henry Exum, Jr. and Keith Exum, both of Nashville; four daughters, Teresa Lewis, Alisa Brogdon, and Brenda Griffin, all of Nashville, and Carolyn Slater of Sparks; 23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 19 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey and the Rev. Calvin Exum officiating. Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
