 Leonard Eugene “Gene” Fallin, 77, of Alapaha died Dec. 23, 2010, at his r
residence.
 Born August 12, 1933, in Thomas County to the late Alvin and Mattie Lou Adams
Fallin
Fallin, he was a tile mason and a member of Alapaha Baptist Church. He had 
lived in Alapaha for 19 years.
 Survivors include his wife, Lorene Jenkins Fallin of Alapaha; two sons and 
daughters-in-law, Harry and Theresa Fallin and Jack and Sandi Fallin, all of 
Tifton; three step-sons and their wives, Paul and Thelma Brown and Steve and 
Peggy Brown, all of Alapaha, and Kenneth and Judy Brown of Ray City; two
step-daughters and their husbands, Brenda and Jimmy Thomas of Nashville and 
daughters and their husbands, Brenda and Jimmy Thomas of Nashville and Zema and 
Joey Whitley of Ocilla; one brother, Wallace Fallin of Labelle, FL; five 
sisters, Ruth Norton of San Destin, FL, Syble Thomas of Jackson, SC, Pat Finch 
of Marianna, FL, Margie Applewhite of Tifton and Edie Gregory of Naples, FL; 15 
grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
 A memorial service was held Dec. 25 at Alapaha Baptist Church with the Rev. Mi
Mike Gibbs officiating. Music was provided by the church choir, accompanied by Da
Darlene Turner, pianist. A eulogy was given by Margie Applewhite.
 Interment was in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Tifton.
 Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals was in charge of arrangements.
