Benny Gene Fender, 67, of Ray City died Dec. 17, 2009, at his residence after 
a lengthy illness.
 Born in Clinch Co. on Oct. 1, 1941, to the late Dave Riley and Nancy 
Elizabeth Gilyard Fender, he worked for the Berrien County Road Department for 
17 years.
 Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Jessie and Ronald Skinner, 
Ray City; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Latrelle Fender of Homerville; a 
number of nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held on Dec. 19 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Music 
Funeral Services.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
