Ruby E. Fernandez, 90, of Tampa, FL, beloved wife for 65 years to Joe L. 
Fernandez, passed from this life into glory on Monday, March 16, 2009.
 She was predeceased by a daughter, Phyllis E. Smith; her mother, Pearl Mae 
Bennett Hancock; her father, Warren Hancock; and both her brothers, Robert and 
Grady Hancock.
 Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Joe L. Fernandez; her daughter, 
Barbara Randazzo; and her son, Joe L. Fernandez, Jr., and his wife, Linda. 
Mrs. Fernandez had eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and six 
great-great-grandchildren. She loved her family and her church and was 
tireless in caring for the needs of those less fortunate.
 Services were officiated by Rev. Bob E. Lyons on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at 
the Garden of Memories Funeral Home in Tampa.
 Pallbearers included Louis Randazzo, Joe Fernandez, III, Ivan Feakes, Race 
Hancock, Mark Mroczka, Jeff Lodermeier.
