The Berrien Press -- Quincy Flanders, 78, of Ocala, FL, died February 26, 2006 
at Hospice House in Ocala.
 Born August 12, 1927 in Berrien County to the late Elbert Franklin and 
Georgia Horton Flanders, he was retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was a 
member of Bible Baptist Church in Ocala and a Mason (F&AM). He was preceded in 
death by his first wife, Ruby Flanders.
 Survivors include his wife, Patty Flanders of Ocala; two step-sons, Aaron 
Shutts of Troutville, VA, and Adam Shutts of Ocala; three sisters, Marie 
Williams, Evelyn Ennis and Elnita Bennett all of Warner Robins; two step-
grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held March 4 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with Rev. Ray Woodward officiating. 
 Interment with full military honors was held at Mt. Paron Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
