Born May 21, 1940, in Berrien County to the late Johnny and Serena Luke Dillard, she was a homemaker and for many years, with her husband, operated Flanders Cafe in Alapaha. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Joey Flanders. Survivors include her husband, Jordan Flanders of Alapaha; daughter, Sandra Givens of Alapaha; daughter-in-law, Nancy Flanders of Lenox; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held April 16 at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Revs. Jackie Connell and Freddie Stone officiating. Susan Flanders sang "In the Garden" and "Your Arms are Holding Me." Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Jimmy Dillard, Terry Dillard, Marlon Giddens, Tommy Flanders, Jeremy Roberts, Charlie Flanders. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Williams, Ferrell Harper, Bill Lee, Gary Henderson, Julian Fields, Jimmy Gaskins, Jerry Whitley, Joe Dixon, J.H. Moore, Stanley Moore.
