Flanders is Victim of Death C.W. Flanders, well known farmer residing on the place of E.D. McMillan near Alapaha, died Monday of this week. He had been ill the past six months. He was 55-years-old, and was better known as Col. Flanders. He was born and reared in Coffee County, but had lived in this county the past twenty years, having been with Mr. McMillan nineteen years as a tenant. His wife passed away about six months ago. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Liberty Church, conducted by Elder L.L. Register with burial in the church cemetery. He was a member of Liberty Primitive Baptist Church.
